NYC woman sues Hard Rock for $500K after falling out of golf cart

That was unlucky.

A Brooklyn woman who was injured after falling from a golf cart is now suing the Hard Rock Cafe & Hotel in the Dominican Republic for $500,000 in damages.

Taylor O’Leary said in documents filed in Brooklyn federal court that she fell from a golf cart in July 2022 because the cart’s seat was slippery and wet, causing multiple injuries.

The incident happened at the Hard Rock Golf Club near Punta Cana.

27-year-old Brooklyn woman She said in legal papers filed against the hotel and its corporate owner, Hard Rock Cafe International, that she was a guest at the hotel when she was injured.

Located on picturesque Macau Beach, this five-star luxury resort is said to be a favourite with celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Shakira and Mariah Carey.

The 18-hole golf course was designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus.

The green fee is $300.

O’Leary did not respond to messages and his lawyer declined to comment.

A Hard Rock representative declined to comment.
