New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers began making arrests Tuesday night at the City University of New York (CUNY).

The arrest at City University of New York reportedly occurred after anti-Israel protests began. push Police were on the front line, allegedly storming buildings near an anti-Israel camp on campus.

NYPD officers also began raiding Columbia University and early Tuesday morning began removing people from Hamilton Hall, an academic building on campus that had been occupied by anti-Israel demonstrators.
Columbia University announced that it would restrict access to its campus and students found occupying buildings would be expelled.
