NYPD officials were hit by an outside-control vehicle between two vehicles in a dramatic collision that unfolded in Manhattan on Friday morning and were locked into two vehicles, authorities said.
The 26-year-old uniformed officer was walking to his car around 7:12am on West Village's West 13th Avenue when a black Dodge charger southbounded on Seventh Avenue changed lanes and crashed into a sweeper on Sanitary Street.
The crazy 43-year-old driver lost control of his muscle car, painted officers on the sides, and harbored him between a police cruiser and a sporty sedan.
Officers were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition for treatment, police said.

It remains unclear what kind of injuries he suffered.
The desperate driver, who was treated at Bellevue Hospital after complaining of pain, was taken into custody.
Police say the charges are pending.
The investigation is underway.
