The couple have four children, and Madley confirmed several children were present at Friday’s party.

Zafar, the suspect’s brother-in-law, told the Post that the couple’s relationship had been good until things took a turn for the worse recently.

“My sister called me today and said, ‘There’s a problem,'” said Zafar, who lives in Brooklyn.

Zafar said his brother-in-law was unemployed and spending most of his time at home because of a sinus infection.

Neighbors of the building on Namiki Street said violent crimes like this are rare in the area.
