The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Nasdaq will participate by closing their markets on Jan. 9, a day of remembrance for the late President Jimmy Carter.
The NYSE announced Monday that the NYSE, NYSE American Equities, NYSE American Options, NYSE Arca Equities, NYSE Arca Options, NYSE Chicago and NYSE National will cease operations on January 9 in honor of the former president. Announced.

A national day of remembrance for Carter was announced by President Biden, who also directed public buildings and the military to lower flags to half-staff for 30 days.
