City University of New York professor and race commentator Marc Lamont Hill spoke out Thursday about the death of troubled NFL star O.J. Simpson. Mr Hill said Mr Simpson was guilty but the acquittal was necessary to address “racism” in the legal system.
Hill accessed his X account on Thursday and trolled his followers about why a convicted murderer should be acquitted.
“O.J. Simpson was a terrible liar and abandoned his community long before he murdered two people in cold blood,” Hill argued.
But he continued, “His acquittal for murder was the right and necessary outcome of a racist criminal legal system. But he remains a monster, not a martyr.”

Hill’s assertion that “abusive” murderers deserve to go free because of systemic racism certainly earned X a response.
I mean, he’s a monster because he killed people, but should he have gotten away with it because of racism or something? Can you hear yourself? Wait, of course it is.

If you think his acquittal was “right and necessary” then you are a racist.

Innocence for “cold-blooded” murder is never right or necessary, and it never atones for past crimes committed against members of one’s community.
It only increases the burden of wrongdoing for all of us.

“He killed two people/His acquittal was right.”
Social justice distilled to perfection. Individual guilt is irrelevant; what matters is the social dynamics of the group.
