O.J. Acquittal Was the ‘Correct Result’ of a ‘Racist’ Legal System

City University of New York professor and race commentator Marc Lamont Hill spoke out Thursday about the death of troubled NFL star O.J. Simpson. Mr Hill said Mr Simpson was guilty but the acquittal was necessary to address “racism” in the legal system.

Hill accessed his X account on Thursday and trolled his followers about why a convicted murderer should be acquitted.

“O.J. Simpson was a terrible liar and abandoned his community long before he murdered two people in cold blood,” Hill argued.

But he continued, “His acquittal for murder was the right and necessary outcome of a racist criminal legal system. But he remains a monster, not a martyr.”

Hill’s assertion that “abusive” murderers deserve to go free because of systemic racism certainly earned X a response.
