The fundraiser is expected to bring in $25 million for Biden, who called the event a “grassroots fundraiser.”
Actress Mindy Kaling hosted the event and joked, “It’s such an honor to be in this room with so many wealthy people.”
“People are paying up to $500,000 to be here tonight,” she added. “If you make that kind of money from RNC fundraisers, you can become secretary of state.”
