Ocasio-Cortez pounces on Anti-Defamation League for defending Elon Musk from Nazi accusations

The Anti-Defamation League released a statement defending Elon Musk from accusations that he gave a Nazi salute, and left-wing lawmakers immediately criticized the group for it.

After President Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday, Musk made two enthusiastic gestures while speaking at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Many accused him of intentionally showing support for white supremacy, while others dismissed it as a wrongdoing.

Democratic socialist New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has ignored calls for civility. criticized ADL tries to defuse conflict.

“Just to clarify, you are defending the repeated Heil Hitler salute for emphasis and clarity,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on social media.

“People can also officially stop listening to you as a reliable source of any kind going forward,” she added. “You work for them. Thank you for making that clear to everyone.”

Ocasio-Cortez previously clashed with the ADL when she tried to blame another Jewish group, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, for the Democratic Party's devastating loss in the 2024 election.

Ocasio-Cortez seemed comfortable continuing to use Elon Musk's platform X while accusing him of being a Nazi.
