Odell Beckham Jr. Targets NFL Return

Odell Beckham Jr. is eyeing a comeback in the NFL, and he already has a few teams in mind.

On a recent episode of the podcast “The Pivot,” the former Giants wide receiver mentioned four franchises he would love to join following his six-game suspension for breaching the league’s performance-enhancing drugs policy. This suspension marks the beginning of a delay in his return to the field.

When he’s ready to play again, he expressed interest in the Rams, Steelers, Chiefs, and Giants. He affectionately referred to Rams head coach Sean McVay during his interview, playfully suggesting, “I have to go home with you. Call your family and tell them to retire the No. 7 jersey for a few games—I want it back.” He reminisced about his high school coach as a significant influence in his life, explaining how he instilled values beyond just the game itself.

During his time with the Rams, Beckham participated in eight regular-season games, scoring his first Super Bowl touchdown and helping the team win the championship in the 2021 season, despite suffering an ACL injury in the game.

Beckham, now 32, rose to prominence with the Giants after five successful seasons in New York. He expressed a desire to reconnect with Giants fans, stating, “You’ve got to see me in that blue before I get out of here. I believe in the fans, and I want to pass that on to the Giants.”

Throughout his career, Beckham has also worn jerseys for the Browns, Ravens, and Dolphins. It’s clear he’s not done just yet, as his aspirations of returning to the spotlight—perhaps in blue—suggest bright days ahead.
