Ohio doctor Francis J Kearse III discovered deceased following allegations of giving a 16-year-old girl vape pens and money in exchange for sex.

Fatal Incident Involving Ohio Doctor Accused of Exploiting Minors

A doctor from Ohio, who allegedly posed as a “sugar daddy” online, was found dead just days before facing serious charges related to his interactions with teenage girls. This individual, identified as Francis J. Kearse III, was 43 years old when he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on March 27 at his residence in Trenton, a rural area located between Dayton and Cincinnati.

Kearse, who specialized in emergency medicine, was set to be arraigned in Hamilton County on charges stemming from an alleged sexual encounter with a 16-year-old girl.

Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Christopher McDowell commented on Kearse’s death, stating, “(He) escaped justice in a very difficult way” during a court session where the news of Kearse’s passing was revealed.

Reports indicated that Kearse used Snapchat to engage with young women, portraying himself as a “sugar daddy.” He allegedly sought relationships before inviting them to partake in sexual activities.

In a troubling incident, Kearse reportedly sent gift cards to at least one 16-year-old boy and made a proposition for a “quid pro quo,” which resulted in a meeting in October. This encounter was described by authorities as a “sex act for hire.”

It was alleged that Kearse provided the girl with two vape pens and $15 in exchange for sex. Subsequently, he was indicted on multiple serious charges, including forced prostitution of both adults and minors, human trafficking, and smuggling.

The age of consent in Ohio is 16, and the state defines rape as nonconsensual sex or sexual acts involving minors under the age of 13.

Kearse was arrested on March 11 and released on a recognizance bond, with a court appearance scheduled for the following Tuesday. As a condition of his bail, he was instructed to refrain from using social media.

Despite being released until his untimely death, both Judge McDowell and the county prosecutor expressed a desire for Kearse to remain incarcerated. Following revelations about the cashless bond, the judge ordered that he be re-arrested.

Butler County law enforcement was ready to proceed with an arrest when they were informed of Kearse’s death. Prosecutor Mike Gmoser stated, “We just received instructions from law enforcement to proceed with the investigation and were notified of the death almost immediately.”

Kearse was under prosecution in Butler County at the time of his passing.
