An Ohio motorist, who allegedly dropped a donut while driving on a busy road, was responsible for a serious three-car collision.
The unfortunate incident took place when an unnamed driver was on Rock Creek Road in Thompson, as reported by an Ohio State Highway Patrol, on Wednesday morning while sipping coffee in his vehicle and accidentally dropped his pastry. I told WJW.
A distracted motorist, unfamiliar with the curvy road, reportedly veered into one vehicle and collided with a second vehicle before striking an oncoming car.
The firefighter rescued one individual from the vehicle upon arriving at the alarming scene. According to Hampden Fire Station.
Images shared on Facebook depicting the crash reveal that one vehicle was utterly smashed, while another was pushed into it with a crumpled front end. The third vehicle was off the roadway with displaced wheels and minor damage on the driver’s side.
Two drivers were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, while a third received treatment at the scene. Woio reported.
The donut enthusiast was cited for distracted driving as he failed to maintain his lane, WJW reported.
The accident is currently being investigated.
