A 50-year-old high school teacher resigned after her OnlyFans account was discovered by her school district, becoming the latest educator to lose her job over a side hustle with adult content.
Jennifer Ruziska worked for the Springfield (Ohio) Local School District for nearly 30 years before school officials learned about her “pornographic/sexually explicit website” in January, forever changing her career. It’s here. According to WTOL.
A Springfield High School English teacher was disciplined because his presence and content on the subscription sites OnlyFans and Fansly violated his teaching licensure’s conduct and technology policies.
“Springfield Local Schools was made aware of allegations that one of our teachers had engaged in conduct unbecoming of a professional educator,” District Superintendent Matt Geha told the outlet. . “The teacher was placed on administrative leave effective Monday, January 29, 2024, and her last day in the classroom was Friday, January 26, 2024.”
Geha launched an investigation into Ruzishka on January 26th, and confirmed the next day that “evidence was secured under the direction of the district attorney,” WTOL reported, and the superintendent of schools announced on February 2nd that the Ohio Education Department The report cited a letter sent to the committee. .
Ruziska, whose adult content is posted under the name “Jenniferssecrets,” also worked as a cheerleading coach and yearbook advisor, and had a salary of $74,720 when she retired.
A photo of the teacher in skimpy lingerie was attached to a file for investigation of her account, which included a third party set up to view the content to potential viewers. It included a mostly blurry photo that she recommended paying for one of the three subscriptions.
Ruziscka offers three separate subscriptions based on what you can watch, ranging from a $25 “sneak peek” to a $99 “full reveal.”
“If you’d like to keep it a secret, please call me Miss Jennifer, and I’ll give you lessons that focus solely on female sexuality,” Ruziska wrote on Fansley, a small subscription-based site. Part of his biography is written here.
Ruzyszka resigned from the school on January 29, two days before a scheduled disciplinary meeting.
She defended her adult hobby by quoting Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.”
“In William Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Juliet laments that Romeo is Montague, the only son of her family’s great enemy, saying, “A rose by any name smells as sweet.” “I recognize that,” Ruziska told WTOL.
“Likewise, people can label me whatever they want. But that doesn’t change the admirable level of dedication and exemplary work ethic that I exercise as an educator. A roof over my family’s head. No matter what I do in my personal life to keep my car parked in my garage, I remain one of the greatest English teachers to ever serve in the Springfield Local School District.
“My students learn to value personal and academic growth in my classroom. My classroom is a place where students value their individuality and are eager to develop their talents. It’s an environment that challenges you and inspires you to realize your true potential, as evidenced by the many accolades and recognitions I’ve earned during my 28 years at SLS.”
She later landed a job as an ELA tutor for grades 7-12 on an online learning platform aimed at reducing dropout rates, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Ruzyska is the latest teacher to be investigated and subsequently resign after OnlyFans and other adult content sites were discovered at the school.
Last September, an OnlyFans account run by Missouri teacher Brianna Copage with her husband was discovered.
Copage resigned a few weeks later and eventually got a job as a community support specialist at Compass Health, but that lasted only five days before he was fired for adult content.
