Ohio thieves swipe 100 right-footed shoes from Sole Bros in Cincinnati

Three brazen thieves stole more than 100 pairs of right-footed shoes in a booze-fueled robbery as the dispirited owner contemplated closing the shop for good after a devastating blow to his business. .

The robbers made off with “more than 100 pairs of correct shoes, several complete pairs of shoes, a large amount of clothing, and other items and personal effects,” along with surveillance footage of the crime, Emi wrote.

Security video taken from outside the store shows one of the thieves, wearing a red sweat suit and gym bag, taking a swig from what appears to be a liquor bottle before entering the store. The store had its grand opening in March.

Later, the same thief was seen walking around a business showroom with multiple shoes under his arm.

Another shoe-stomper, wearing a black sweatshirt and a face mask, was seen on camera limping into the store, while a third woman appeared to be standing guard outside.

Photos of the aftermath show empty shoe boxes strewn across the floor of the store, storerooms raided, shelves ransacked and a pair of shoes discarded inside.

And he noticed that the trio “finished with almost all of the many shoes on the wall.”

“At that point, it was just demoralizing,” Emi told the outlet.

He estimated that the theft of products and damage to the store would result in approximately $45,000 in losses.

However, Emi said in a social media post that the store will remain open thanks to the “love and support” it has received from the community and will “strive to provide the best service possible to the city.”
