One man killed, three others injured after boat crash in NYC

Two boats collided in Brooklyn, blowing crew members apart and leaving one man dead and three others injured, police said.

Police said the fatal incident happened after 11:50 a.m. near Plum Beach on Gerritsen Creek.

According to the NYPD, one plane was carrying a 58-year-old man, a 56-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, and the other was carrying a 68-year-old man.

A 58-year-old man received CPR at the scene and was taken in critical condition to NYC Health Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health Center, where he later died, an NYPD spokesman told The Post.

A 56-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman were taken to Coney Island Hospital in stable condition, police said.

A 68-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, authorities said.

The New York Police Department did not immediately say what caused the accident.

“No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing,” a ministry spokesman said.
