Online opinions split on image of ‘1,000-foot UFO’ near Four Corners: ‘Definitely a crop circle’

Is it truly something out of this world?

A newly surfaced photo allegedly depicting a 1,000-foot-wide UFO near the Four Corners has ignited a heated debate online about its authenticity. Some are questioning if it’s a real encounter or merely an illusion.

Lewis “Lou” Elizondo, a former Pentagon employee, shared the controversial image. He claims it shows a “1,000-foot” silver flying saucer, but many argue it’s simply two crop circles, typical in desert areas.

A comparison with Google Maps reveals what appears to be two irrigation circles, one darker than the other, suggesting it could just be shadows.

Dr. Disclosure, a user online, firmly states, “This is clearly not a UAP, nor a crop circle.”

They further emphasize that misunderstandings about known phenomena can damage public trust and hinder disclosure efforts, urging, “Please correct this mistake. Your reputation is at stake.”

In response, some users shared similar illustrations side by side, noting their resemblance to the reported UFO sighting.

One comment from Jeff Knox questioned the credibility of the claims, saying, “Seriously? Have you ever flown in a plane? These agricultural patterns are quite common.”

Knox added, “The second looks like a recent field burn. JFC, this is embarrassing. Why is there still a stigma surrounding this topic?”

The photo gained traction after Elizondo showcased it at a panel organized by the UAP Disclosure Fund.

Elizondo described the UFO as “captured near Four Corners at FL20,” estimating its size at 600 to 1,000 feet in diameter.

Reportedly, Elizondo obtained these images in 2021 from a commercial pilot flying at 21,000 feet near Four Corners, the intersection of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado.

Elizondo pointed out what appeared to be a shadow from a large “lenticular” object as evidence supporting the existence of physical crafts in the photo.

However, Mick West, a prominent UAP debunker, noted that the shadow patterns cast by the hills contradict Elizondo’s claims.

Previously, Elizondo had faced backlash for presenting UAP evidence, especially after the Pentagon refuted assertions of alien life on Earth.

The UAP Disclosure Fund panel featured U.S. lawmakers like Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) and Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), along with Harvard astrophysicist Professor Avi Loeb, who discussed these issues during a meeting in Washington, D.C.

Another panel member, astrophysicist Eric Davis, suggested there are four different types of alien species that have visited Earth: “Greys,” “Nordics,” “Reptiles,” and “Insectoids.”
