Only 4% of Americans who said they were supporting Russia in the war in Ukraine, while 44% said they would not regain Ukraine CBS News/YouGov polls.
In a poll conducted between February 26th and 28th, 4% of respondents said they “personally support” Russia regarding the war. 52% said they personally support Ukraine, while 44% said they were “neither.”
The vote took place between February 26th and 28th, ending the recent tense, oval office meeting with President Trump, Ukrainian President Voldi Miserensky and Vice President Vance. At the meeting, Zelensky and Trump clashed with Ukraine's support for the US.
After the meeting, Trump said on his true social platform that the Ukrainian president “is not ready for peace because he feels that our involvement is giving him a great advantage in negotiations when America is involved.”
Trump has concluded the war between Russia and Ukraine, with Russian authorities meeting in Saudi Arabia last month.
The meeting also hit Democrats, with Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) saying “it's a complete embarrassment for America.”
Regarding America's “military aid to Ukraine,” 51% of CBS News/Yougov public opinion supported it, while 49% said it was not.
A CBS News/YouGov poll scored 2,311 people, earning points of positive or negative 2.5% as margin of error.
