Authorities reported that a Canadian teenager posed as a potential buyer to steal the victim's Porsche, and was caught on security camera striking the car in the owner's driveway while fleeing in the car.
Sarah Budshaw, who police say has a criminal history in the Toronto area, was arrested Thursday after allegedly stealing a 2022 Porsche Cayenne from a residence in Mississauga, Ont., on Sept. 6, Peel Regional Police said. said.
According to a press release, it was around 2pm when Budshaw, 18, went to the alleged victim's home near Winston Churchill and Eglinton streets after “seeing an advert on Autotrader.”
“The suspect then reversed suddenly while looking at the vehicle, striking and injuring the victim before fleeing in the stolen vehicle.”
Doorbell camera footage released by police shows the Porsche's owner being run over by the leg and falling to the ground.

“Sarah has previously been charged with fraud-related offences in Peel and is also wanted by other police forces in the GTA.
