On Wednesday, church members braved the icy waters of Billy Chinook Lake in Oregon so people could witness his spiritual rebirth.
Members of Metolius Friends Community Church were clearly excited. was baptized in chest-deep, frigid water, the Central Oregon Daily News reported.
After this emotional moment, a group of men from the church took a polar dive into the ocean to celebrate the new year, and then enjoyed a hot breakfast together.
Pastor Jaydon Ross explained, “It was a great start to the new year for us, being able to get out and have some fun, leave the old behind and move forward with the new and what's next in 2025.”
