Oregon U staffer Leonard Serrato on leave after rant against Trump voters

An administrator at the University of Oregon's Greek Life College went on an expletive-filled rant about Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 presidential election, after he cruelly told supporters of the president-elect to “jump off the King Bridge.” He was placed on administrative leave.

Leonard Cerrato, assistant director of fraternities and sororities, faced immediate backlash after posting an offensive rant on his Instagram page.

“I say this in the rudest way possible. I don't care if you're my family, I don't care if you're my friend, I don't care if we're lifelong friends. You don't, you can literally go fuck yourself if you vote for Donald Trump,'' Cerrato reportedly said. to the oregonian.

Mr. Cerrato proudly called himself a “boring person” and took aim at voters concerned about inflation.

“If you're so sad about food being expensive, just get a better paying job,” he said.

“Get better at life, get a goddamn education, do something because you're an idiot, and jump off a fucking bridge.”

The school placed him on administrative leave and launched an investigation into the matter.

“As a public university, we take seriously our obligation to provide an environment that welcomes diversity of thought and respect, consistent with our educational mission,” a spokesperson told the Post in an email.

“While we investigate, we are providing support to the students and employees involved, including resources for mental and emotional health.”

A spokesperson said the school has since provided counseling to Serrato and confirmed that the post has been deleted.

A message to Cerrato was not immediately returned Thursday night.
