Biden campaign co-chair Mitch Landrieu said Thursday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump’s reelection would jeopardize “the ability of our children to live in a free world.” He said he was deaf.
Landrieu said, “The very important thing to remember is that elections are about choices. It’s about the past and the future. It’s about values, and they’re very important. President Biden. When he ran for office, he said, “I intend to contribute to the restoration of the soul of the nation.” I’m going to invest in the American people. We’re going to lower costs. I’m going to impact people’s freedom. ” Then he brought me a receipt. ”
He continued, “I’m happy to talk about how horrible Donald Trump is as a human being. If you think about his life as a whole, just think about it like this: Whether it’s his personal life or his business life. But even in public life, Donald Trump has used his power to help himself and to harm and abuse others.”
Landrieu continued, “Hearing Liz Cheney and Republicans like Ronald Reagan and George Bush talk about the fate of our democracy, the fate of our children’s ability to live in a free world. If you have, you’re on the line. I think this time people will stand up and be counted. Plus, President Biden has an incredible track record.”
