On Wednesday on FNC’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) warned about the possibility of Kamala Harris becoming president.
Harris and Gabbard were rivals in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, which was ultimately won by Joe Biden.
“I think our country should be very afraid of Kamala Harris as president and commander in chief,” she said. “I can’t think of anyone less qualified to be president and commander in chief, and I say that as an American and as a service member who has served in uniform as an Army Reserve. This would be absolutely disastrous for the country, but it’s also just an extension of what we’ve seen with Joe Biden’s foreign policy and his conduct as commander in chief, because it’s really unelected people, whether it’s Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, who are pulling the strings behind the scenes and making the foreign policy decisions, that would be disastrous for our country, it would undermine our national security, it would bring us ever closer to the brink of nuclear war and nuclear Armageddon.”
“This is a big concern, but the reason President Trump is focusing on Kamala Harris right now is because he understands, like the rest of us, that whether Joe Biden is the top choice or whether he pushes Kamala Harris to the top, both scenarios are plausible if Kamala Harris wins the presidency,” Gabbard added.
