The two-term lawmaker, a member of the far-left group known as the Squad, is the latest lawmaker to lose his seat. However, she accepted her defeat and insisted that “the team will continue to fight” even though the number of people in the group is reduced.

“First of all, the team is big. And I know we'd like to have a team with just a few people, but we're not doing this job by ourselves,” Busch said. said.

“The 119 number will be much lower.”th But Congress will continue to fight for those who need it most. They are not going to change their priorities or what they believe. Only fewer members of Congress will be on the team. But they are never silent. Anyone who underestimates our power is very mistaken, because we are not going anywhere, and I will always be a squad. I’m not going far,” she said, discussing the possibility of running again in the future.

“The possibilities are endless. All I know now is that I'm not going anywhere. I've been fighting for the issues I've been fighting for since before I joined Congress and since I've been in Congress. I'm going to keep going,'' said Bush (D-Missouri).

“It's not entirely inconceivable that I would run again. I never expected to be a member of Congress for only four years, so I don't know if it's for Congress or something else, but I think I might run again someday. “I believe that,” she continued.

Bush first took office in 2021 and could have won reelection in 2022 before losing this year's Democratic primary for Missouri's 1st Congressional District.

Meanwhile, Democratic Rep. Jamal Bowman (D.Y.), another Squad member who also lost his seat this year after losing the Democratic primary, has also expressed interest in running again in the future.

“What has been liberating for me to no longer be officially part of Congress is the opportunity to serve and support the community in many different ways. There are many ways to influence electoral politics. There are a lot of ways to give. I'm going to get involved in it from a community organizing standpoint and from a fundraising standpoint. And yes, depending on the right circumstances and how it goes, it's possible that I could run for office again at some point. There’s enough sex,” Bowman said.

Other notable members of the team include Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (New York), Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan), and Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota). They recently attracted media attention for condemning Israel's retaliatory war efforts against Hamas and other Islamist groups.
