Actor Austin North, best known for starring in “Outer Banks,” was arrested in Las Vegas this week.
According to a police report obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, North, 27, was charged with assault on a protected person Wednesday after he allegedly attacked a University Medical Center employee while being treated in the emergency room. He was charged with three felonies.
The report said North punched the nurse in the face and tried to push her against the sink. When two other members of staff tried to stop him, he allegedly assaulted them, shoving one in the face and pushing another against a table.

According to reports in Las Vegas, one of the hospital workers hit the actor in the forehead with a tray in self-defense.
He was taken to jail but later released on bail. His trial date is set for March 19th.
On Thursday, North explained her side of the situation on her Instagram Story, writing, “I’m so shaken up by the events that happened in Las Vegas this week. I thought I was having a heart attack, so a friend of mine stopped by the car. So he took me to the hospital.” . ”

He continued: “Several tests were done, including blood tests, which came back negative for drugs or alcohol in my system. I was having severe anxiety attacks.”

He also claimed he had “very little recollection” of what happened at the hospital and insisted he had “the utmost respect for medical professionals and hospital staff.”
