“I think it was the second day after I gave birth. “He called me and was like, 'Hey mom. I just wanted to check in and I started crying,” she said. “He was like, 'Take a breath. The first month is the hardest. Just take care of yourself.' And I hung up and I was like, did I cry to Ryan Serhant? Yeah, I did.”

The day after Netflix announced plans for a second season, Owning ManhattanTucker Cain stopped by the DECIDER offices to talk about “NDA” season two, working with Serhant, and his relationship with his current co-stars. Check out the full interview below.

DECIDER: First off, congratulations on the renewal for Season 2. How do you feel about that?

Chloe Tucker Kane: I was so relieved because I felt like I got such an amazing response from everyone. But then I was like, “Wait a minute, did you guys like it? You liked it, right?” And then I heard the news and I was like, “Okay, great. You guys liked it.” I'm so excited.

Do you have any information on a timeline, such as when filming will begin?

So what happened yesterday was, I was in a group chat with the whole cast and Ryan, and Ryan was like, “Everybody hop on this FaceTime right now,” and we all hopped on in. And he was like, “Okay, season two's been greenlit. It starts in probably a couple of weeks. We have no idea. We've got to go have a meeting and have some fun.” And we were like, “What? Tell me more. What's going on?” So, yeah, we don't know.

What are you hoping to showcase in Season 2? Do you have any exciting deals or listings in the works?

This is going to be very interesting for me because I finished filming season one in March and then I gave birth a week later. So I wanted to take some time off and be with my baby. And my baby is six months old now. So I will be really going back to work, but I feel like I have to start all over again in a way because I was away from work for so long. So you're going to hear a lot of yeses from Chloe. I'm going to be the queen of yeses. No matter what anyone needs, I'm there. And now that I'm a mother, I'm excited to explore a new side of myself because I've learned a lot of life lessons from this whole process. So it's going to be interesting.

I think it's really wonderful that new moms can see you returning to work while juggling work and raising children. at the same time.

And I think that's great. And this is new for me. And I feel like there's a lot of new moms out there and we can all figure this out together. So I think that's really great.

Yesterday, Ryan sent us a statement that 200 Amsterdam will be featured in season two. Inheritance Filmed there! Would you like to work on this list with him?

I hope so. I hope he lets us all pitch, because I'm sure I can blow everyone away. So it would be nice to have a little pitch competition.

I had a lot of fun watching you pitch against the Nile last season. I was rooting for you!

Oh, thank you. I was so nervous at that point, because I come from a theater background, I come from an acting background, so I'm like, “Okay, what are my lines? What are my rhythms? What are my actions?” That's how I approach it. So I was like, “Okay, it's time to act. It's showtime!”

It's no secret that you've been an absolute fan favorite this season – how has the fierce competition of the theatre world helped you prepare to become a real estate agent?

I think it all comes down to preparation, and I always over-prepare. I may not have 20 years in the industry, or 10 years, but because of my performance background, I blow you away with my preparation every time.

How has your life changed since you were on the show? Own Manhattan?

It's so funny. I've built a really amazing TikTok community of a lot of new moms. I used to write a lot about healthy living and New York life. So I was used to running into people on the street. But now it's a completely different thing, and the show is so amazing. So when people approach me on the street, I'm always like, “Was I mean? Was I okay?” So it's really fun to get feedback from people in real time.

I'm totally obsessed with the TikToks you and Ryan make. How hard is it to convince him to be in these videos?

It's incredibly easy. When I meet Ryan, I feel like he's just waiting to be asked to make a TikTok or do something creative because he also has a performance background. So I think he really loves those little challenges.

I really liked “HOT TO GO!” I thought it was very funny.

It was the first time I'd ever been in the same room as Jade and Ryan. [in] It took months, so it was really hard.

So, what do you like most about working for Ryan?

He's very creative and a yes man. No idea is too much or too crazy. He's like, “You have this idea. Go ahead and do it. How can I help you make it happen?” He's just a fun guy. He's the kind of guy who will always respond if you call or email him. And that's not just for me, it's for everyone in the company. And I've never experienced anything like that.

Ryan revealed on the show that a client once threatened to kill him if he didn't back out of a deal. What crazy real estate stories have you had yourself?

I feel like everyone is just crazy… Oh my goodness, there were so many of us. We had problems with owners and cats, [the owner loved] I really love cats. [They] I want my cat to be nearby [at] At those showings, we had people with allergies, we had snack issues. Every property has its own complexities and craziness, but I love it. I live for the craziness, and it's fun when the owners are a little bit quirky. The buyers are really, you know, enthusiastic. It's fun.

I'm interested in the drama this season. A lot has happened between you and Jade. On the show, you end up making up. But Let's see what happens live, It seems like you're starting again. How are your friendships these days?

Oh my God. Sam, that's a good question. Jade and I love each other. Like I said, I feel like she's my soulmate. So it gets really intense sometimes. And I was really hurt by certain things. Looking back on it all, the biggest thing I realized is that it doesn't matter how I thought about what happened, or if she was making something up or exaggerating something. In fact, she was my friend who was hurting, and I should have been there for her instead of playing detective gadget and trying to really understand what was going on. It wasn't my job.

When I spoke to Ryan, I asked him if he would ever give Jonathan Norumole another chance and he said, “I don't know.” How would you feel about Jonathan returning to SERHANT?

I wasn't given any screen time with Jonathan. So I was like, “Let him attack, let him attack.” So I hope he comes back because I think that would be fun for me. I don't know what other people think. Oh my God, that's totally me-centric about Chloe. But yeah, I don't know, but I hope so.

I want to watch you tear him apart.

Same here! Bring him back.

Things seemed to be going well for Savannah Gowerty when she was working with you, but in the season finale it was revealed that she had ultimately decided to leave SERHANT. What happened?

I think she had a very clear vision of what she wanted to do and what her career was. And, you know, people write Savannah off, but I think she's very smart and really pursues what she wants. At the end of the day, SERHANT is a great company as we know it, but it wasn't what she wanted for herself and she wanted to explore other things. I'm really proud of her. She's doing a great job.

Are you guys still on good terms?

My little Savi Sav? Yeah. We talk all the time. We have coffee together. I love her. I love my little Southern belle.

I'm interested Are there any celebrities that you're currently working with that may appear in season two?

Regarding NDAs. I will keep quiet. This is not my forte, but we are working on it, so [zip it]And we'll just have to wait and watch.

We've already talked about Jade, but what about her relationships with the other agents? Is there any drama we might see coming in season 2?

It's really interesting. I'm really close with a lot of the cast that you don't see as much. For example, Jess Taylor is one of my best friends. Trisha, Jordan Hart. I feel like we all have a really good relationship. Even Jess [Markowski]A lot of credit to her. I think she really took responsibility. She was like, “I screwed up, so I'm just going to focus on work.” And she's done a great job of that, so I feel like we're all in good hands. This could go on for another five minutes. Everything would be in chaos. But for now, we'll just have to wait and see. When it comes to our business, people are really competitive, so I think it's just a matter of time.

You're a new mom too! Has Ryan given you any parenting advice?

He called me. I think it was the second day after I gave birth. He called and he was like, “Hey, mom. I just wanted to check in.” And I started crying. I was like, “Hey, I'm so overwhelmed. I'm so stressed.” And he was like, “Take a breath. The first month is the hardest. Just take care of yourself.” And I hung up the phone and I was like, did I cry to Ryan Serhant? Yeah, I did.

Which member of the Serhant team would you trust with babysitting Charlie?

Oh, Jess Taylor. No, actually, she hates kids. Let me rephrase that. Who do I trust the most? Trisha? No, Trisha would say, “figure it out for yourself.” I think it would be Jade or Jordan Hart, surprisingly. Jordan Hart or Jade.

Jade is someone I can turn to for anything. Even if we were fighting or hating each other, I'd be like, “Hey, can you help me? I'm in trouble,” and she'd be like, “Okay, what do you need?” We've always been like that.

What other real estate shows do you watch? Why? Owning Manhattan What's best?

I'm biased. I think we have something very special and unique. Of course, I love Selling SunsetI love all the glitz and glamour shows, but I think ours is the best. And no, I don't watch any other real estate shows. Why should I?

$1 million propertyIt's fun. I started watching it from the beginning a while ago and it's amazing. Ryan, season one is amazing.
