Palm Beach County Sheriff Rick Bradshaw alleged that the girl's explicit photo was advertised on a well-known information source for commercial sex workers, which often includes victims of sex trafficking.
On October 18, the girl was found by police at the Studio 6 Motel in West Palm Beach. The girl told police that Pacheco-Leighton coordinated 13 meetings in which the girl was forced to have sex with men ranging in age from 18 to 50.
The girl told police that she had to give half of her earnings to Pacheco-Leighton and pay for half of her motel room. To meet a girl for sex, a man had to pay between $120 and $250.
At the press conference, Bradshaw said Blanco Blanco was previously arrested on attempted murder charges in New York and drug charges in Miami, Florida.
“How can he get away with posting bail on an attempted murder charge from New York? He was arrested for drug trafficking in Miami and was on the loose. That's unconscionable,” Bradshaw said. . “But I can tell you one thing: that woman and this man involved in this case remain in my prison. They are not coming out.”
Pacheco Leighton and Blanco Blanco remain in the Palm Beach County Jail without bail. Police may charge Mr. Blanco Blanco with additional charges depending on the results of the investigation.
