Police say two teenage girls placed pipe bombs at a high school in Montgomery County, Texas, and threatened to fire them on students.
Spring Branch ISD police told Fox News that two teenage girls, ages 15 and 16, will place a pipe bomb at Memorial High School before shooting and killing students.
Police say the 16-year-old girl was at school and was found there about 30 minutes after the threat was put in place.
The threat was reportedly reported on social media and was so detailed that police came to believe it was reliable.

Police also said the threat is in the planning stage.
Neither student is named, but the 16-year-old is charged with terrorist threats and felony.
The FBI Houston office was praised for helping to track the two students before implementing the plan.

“FBI Houston yesterday received information that two underage teenagers from the Houston area are plotting a massive casualty attack at a local school,” the agency wrote on X. . [Houston Police] and [the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office] Identify them and arrest them. ”
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident and noting that the students attended various high schools.
The sheriff's office also said one of the individuals was in custody on unrelated charges, while the other was taken into custody in Harris County.

“The safety and security of our schools and communities remains our number one priority. We understand the concerns that this situation may raise for students, parents and teachers, and we also provide all necessary information. We are taking precautions,” the Sheriff's Office said. “Additional security measures are in place and we continue to work closely with school officials and law enforcement partners to ensure a safe environment.”
