Palestinian protesters release maggots, crickets in Watergate Hotel in protest of Netanyahu visit

Anti-Israel agitators are reportedly behind the release of larvae at a prominent Washington hotel to protest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the capital.

Netanyahu arrived in Washington DC on Wednesday to meet with lawmakers and address a joint session of Congress. Anti-Israel protesters have rallied across the capital to protest the prime minister’s visit, targeting the Watergate Hotel where he is expected to stay during his stay.

Video filmed inside the hotel shows maggots and crickets being released into various common spaces, and one shot shows a table full of mealworms with Israeli and American flags in the background.

“Palestinian protesters caused chaos at the Watergate Hotel last night and Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israeli Mossad agents and the Secret Service are not getting any peace as they continue to terrorize our people,” the DMV chapter of the Palestinian Youth Movement posted on social media along with the video.

Republicans slammed Harris for declining to address Netanyahu in favor of a sorority house address, calling it “disgraceful.”
