Paraguay’s Luana Alonso is ready to try for another shot at Olympic glory.
Instagram Post On Tuesday, the 20-year-old swimmer proudly announced that she had qualified for next month’s Paris Games, marking just her second time competing at Olympic level.
“It’s official! I have qualified for Paris 2024! I am incredibly happy to represent my country again! Thanks to my family, friends and sponsors for making it happen!,” Alonso wrote. “Go Paraguay.”
In 2022, Alonso posted about getting a tattoo of the five Olympic rings on his lower back.
“I joined the Olympic Ring Tattoo Club.” she wrote on Instagram.
The Nike athlete, who boasts more than 220,000 followers on the social media platform, received numerous messages of support from fans.
“Good luck,” one Instagram user wrote, to which another replied, “You don’t need Paris, Paris needs you, queen.”

“Congratulations. Would you like to compete in Miss Universe too?” she was reportedly asked.
Alonso began swimming competitively at the age of 11. according to Clarín, an outlet based in Argentina.

Last year, Alonso Participated He will compete in the 2023 NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships as a member of the SMU Mustangs.
Alonso finished her year at SMU with personal bests in the 100m butterfly and 200m butterfly, according to the university’s website.
