Passenger bites chunk out of flight attendant’s uniform on United plane

An in-flight altercation forced a Newark-bound flight to make an emergency landing after an unruly United Airlines passenger bit into a flight attendant’s shirt.

The enraged passenger, who was wearing an Al Pacino-style “Scarface” T-shirt, repeatedly punched and spat at fellow passengers on board United Airlines Flight 762 from Miami to Newark on Tuesday before being restrained by several flight attendants and passengers.

During the scuffle, the woman swung her head around before chomping on the male flight attendant’s shirt and ripping off pieces of fabric, cellphone video showed. TMZ showed it.

After flight attendants and passengers restrained the woman, she was escorted down the aisle to another seat, where she began yelling explicit abuse.

“Don’t come on this airline because everyone is recording me,” she said. “Don’t come on shitty United Airlines. These people have attitude problems and don’t do their jobs.”

The enraged passenger then turned his attention to an individual off-camera and continued his frantic tirade.

“Grandma, who are you talking to, grandma, go back to fucking Russia,” a passenger yelled. “Suck my dick, bitch. I’ll fucking kill you.”

The plane took off from Miami International Airport at 5:38 p.m., changed course about an hour into the flight, and landed at Orlando International Airport at 7:13 p.m. According to FlightAware.

After the plane landed, police escorted the passengers away, who continued to shout obscenities at the top of their lungs while the rest of the passengers applauded the officers.

It was announced that the incident required a crew change, causing further delays to the flight.

The plane didn’t resume flying until 9:19 p.m., three and a half hours later, and landed in Newark just after midnight on Wednesday.

The cause of the flight incident has not been revealed, but some passengers have alleged that a problem with the toilets was to blame.

“She appeared to verbally and physically attack her family in the back of the plane because she couldn’t get to the bathroom,” the passenger said. He told the Daily Mail.

“Kids were screaming, but not as loud as her… I remember them acting like this when they were 2 or 3 and didn’t get their ice cream,” the man added.
