pastor and writer greg laurie He said the Iran-Russia alliance is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy and that the United States must continue to support Israel in the fight against terrorism. The pastor of California's Harvest Christian Fellowship made the comments on TBN's show. “Watchman” by Eric Stchelbeck As Iran and Russia continue to strengthen ties. According to Reuters, Russian President Vladimir Putin met Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Turkmenistan last Friday, and the two discussed world affairs and common ties.
“We are actively cooperating on the international stage, and our assessments of current events in the world are often very similar,” Putin told reporters. Pezeshkian echoed Putin, saying, “Our positions in the world are much closer to each other than to others.” Russia has criticized Israel's actions.
Iran funds both Hamas and Hezbollah, two terrorist organizations that have attacked Israel in the past year.
Rowley said the Iran-Russia alliance is important not only in world affairs, but also prophetically.
“Iran is a true ally of Russia,” Rowley said. “And that's what happened recently. And this, of course, was spoken by the prophet Ezekiel. … He said the Jews would scatter, and they did. He said they would come together again.'' On May 14, 1948, he said they would become a nation. And with this horrific attack by all Iranian proxies, we see their hostility towards Israel. But now Hezbollah is attacking and the war continues. ”
He added that it was a “big mistake” for the US to send aid to Iran.
“We've been helping fund what's going on in Israel right now,” Rowley said.
Meanwhile, Rowley said she is shocked by the rise of anti-Semitism around the world, especially on American college campuses.
“I think a lot of the kids who are protesting at Ivy League universities don't even understand that 'from the river to the sea Palestine will be free.' They don't know what a river is. Do they know what the ocean is? Recently, I was sitting with some Gen Z kids and we were doing a little Bible study, and I asked them, “Kids. Why would we do this?’ And they think they’re looking for a purpose more than a cause, they just want to march for something, protest, believe in something. I said I thought so, and I think that's true.”
Is the relatively new alliance between Russia and Iran a fulfillment of Bible prophecy?
