Pastor Jamal Bryant Calls for National Boycott of Target over DEI Rollbacks

Jamal Bryant, pastor of Georgia Mega Church, is seeking a “complete boycott” of the target with a rollback of his diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiative. Bryant, who leads the new Baptist Church of Birth Missionary in Stonecrest, Georgia, rejected Target’s offer to resolve disputes over diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives by investing $2 billion in black-owned businesses by July 31st.

A few days ago, Target CEO Brian Cornell held a “very constructive” meeting in New York City with Pastor Al Sharpton. Christian Post It has been reported.

“This morning I held a very constructive and candid meeting with Brian Cornell, including the chairman of the Nan National Board. W. Dr. Franklin Richardson and Nancinia Advisor Kara Wallace. I would like to inform allies, including the Rev. Jamal Bryant, what our feelings are and what we’re going from there,” Sharpton said.

Meanwhile, Bryant told the congregation on Sunday that the meeting left another impression on him.

“The woman and gentleman who have already read the report that the meeting has taken place wanted to share the results at that meeting. We asked four things and only walked one thing. By July 31st, we agreed to complete a $2 billion pledge for black businesses,” he said.

“But the other three things have no commitment to us. We have nothing to stand up to because their currency is not riding with us,” he added.

In addition to other issues, Bryant called for a 40-day fast from Target after other big companies, including the retail giant and Walmart, which were submitted to pushing President Donald Trump’s day policy, which he says “will undermine the unity of our people.”

“When we launched this target quickly, the Trillion Dollar Company, a Fortune 500 company, was trading at $138 per share on the New York Stock Exchange, so it grabbed a hard hand and started the stock at $138 as of Friday.

On Monday, the target stock was About $93 deal.

“Pedestrians at Target have dropped by 7.9%. I hope you share your enthusiasm for women and everyone, those who thought it was ineffective, as Target lost $12 billion for your fast.

“They tried to make a statement that their losses were for the economy due to tariffs with China, but in reality, Costco had been earning while they were losing,” he argued.

Costco maintains DEI’s policy, but the company Variation Stock price.

The boycott, which has so far gained over 200,000 supporters, is part of a national movement to promote larger DEI commitments from large corporations.

“This is a national movement, so as a result of Tuesday, we’ll show you what the National Committee on this target boycott is,” Bryant told the congregation.

“I introduce them all by name, organization and affiliation, so the target knows you just know that you talk to these people. No one represents us. … These are people who are consistent with where we are heading and that is what we are moving.”
