Pastor shocks congregation with news of wife’s sudden death. Now police are investigating, and her family is speaking out.

Authorities in North Carolina are investigating the tragic death of a pastor’s wife.

On April 28, John Paul Miller, pastor of Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, preached his usual Sunday sermon. However, upon finishing his sermon, he announced shocking news to the congregation.

“I got the call late last night that my wife had passed away,” he said. “It was self-inflicted and it happened in North Carolina.”
