Authorities in North Carolina are investigating the tragic death of a pastor’s wife.
On April 28, John Paul Miller, pastor of Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, preached his usual Sunday sermon. However, upon finishing his sermon, he announced shocking news to the congregation.
He is survived by his wife, Micah Miller;
“I got the call late last night that my wife had passed away,” he said. “It was self-inflicted and it happened in North Carolina.”
Pastor Miller told the congregation that he would not talk about the “announcement” and that he expected them to leave the sanctuary after the “announcement.” He said Micah Miller’s funeral will be held at the church next Sunday at 3 p.m.
