Darius Butler couldn't steal this from Pat McAfee.
On Monday, McAfee mocked his former Colts teammate and current co-host on his co-host show after Butler described Notre Dame quarterback Riley Leonard as “sneaky fast.”
“I love this healing of Riley Leonard,” McAfee said of Leonard running near the goal line during the first drive of Notre Dame's 34-23 loss to Ohio State in the CFP national championship game. I talked about it later.
Butler replied, “Sneaky speed.”
“What do you mean?” McAfee quickly retorted.
The commentary then went a little off track, with McAfee apparently blaming Butler for assuming Leonard wasn't fast, perhaps because of the color of his skin.
Someone in the background yelled, “Wow,” before Butler described Leonard as “lanky.” Another commented: “He's just fast to me.”
Butler then appeared to joke about Leonard sneaking up on him, which sparked backlash from his co-hosts.
“He can also jump. Have you ever seen him jump? He can also dance. Have you ever seen him dance?” He said the line was probably a reference to the movie “White Men Can't Jump.”
“Impressive,” Butler said before McAfee continued.
“He can dance, he has rhythm, and Catholics have to do church things: stand, kneel, stand, sit, amen, amen,” McAfee said. “Shout out to Catholics, shout out to Riley Leonard.”

Leonard and the Fighting Irish scored on that drive to take an early 7-0 lead, but it turned out to be the game's climactic moment.
The Buckeyes scored the next 31 points, and Notre Dame fell into a point gap that was too large to overcome.
With a 16-point deficit in the fourth quarter, coach Marcus Freeman opted for a field goal from the 9-yard line, but the Fighting Irish simply missed the kick from Mitch Jeter and couldn't prove themselves.
Leonard had a solid day against a tough defense, completing 22 of 31 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns and rushing 17 times for 40 yards and one touchdown. .
