Patricia Heaton has become the latest Kansas City Chiefs fan to show subtle signs of support for kicker Harrison Butker.

Last week, Butker made headlines for her commencement speech at Benedictine College, which covered a wide range of topics including abortion, statements on women’s choice, the coronavirus and President Biden.

“I don’t understand why everyone’s pants are in a twist. He gave a commencement speech,” Heaton said in an Instagram video shared on Sunday. “The audience clapped twice during his speech and gave him a standing ovation at the end, clearly enjoying what he had to say.

“The guy stands by his opinions and Catholic doctrine. Erm, so what? That’s his opinion. He can have an opinion. He’s allowed. He’s I’m not a monster to express what I believe.”

Butker’s speech sparked outrage for a variety of reasons, but one passage in which she called out the graduating class of women and asked them to embrace their “calling” as “housewives” seemed to resonate with many. .
