Patrick Mahomes reacts to his dad-bod going viral: ‘Why they have to do me like that’

Patrick Mahomes is one of us.

He may be a superstar quarterback, but contrary to popular belief, he’s not shredded from head to toe like many of his NFL colleagues.

Mahomes gave an impassioned speech after the Kansas City Chiefs won their second consecutive AFC championship and fourth in five seasons.

Of course, Mahomes wasn’t too concerned about his appearance since he was in his own locker room.

But instead of showing Mahomes rocking six-pack abs, screenshots have surfaced that show him more like a dad.

But Mahomes took everything in stride.

“Dude, why do they have to do that to me!?!?!? #DadBozSZN,” Mahomes posted on X (formerly Twitter) with a laughing emoji.

“It’s like having a baby!!!”

The reactions to his post were equally hilarious.

Someone replied with a photo of Mahomes, who looks like his father, next to ultra-jacked DK Metcalf.

“Only one of these guys will make it to the Super Bowl,” the post read.

Mahomes will take his father to Las Vegas to face the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, a rematch of the title game from four years ago.
