Drake Maye’s Wife Gains Popularity with TikTok Baking Series

Drake Maye, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, isn’t the only one in his family making waves lately. His wife, Ann Michael, has caught the attention of TikTok users with her baking videos. She started her “Bakemasu” series on December 1st, aiming to bake something new each day leading up to Christmas.

Maye recently spoke about his wife’s rise to social media fame, sharing the perks of being her taste-tester. “It was awesome,” he noted, as he enjoys sampling her creations and sometimes brings leftovers to share with teammates.

The first video in Ann Michael’s “Bakemasu” series gained over 1.6 million views, and she has garnered more than 207,000 followers on the platform. Interestingly, Drake made a guest appearance on the second day, but his cameo was brief as he was quickly moved off-screen.

Maye has also mentioned that some people seem to struggle with his wife’s double name, but he insists she’s exceptional and has been a massive support for him during his transition to life as a professional athlete. “People up north are having a bit of a hard time with the double name. But she’s a superstar,” he said.

The 23-year-old quarterback is becoming a standout player himself. As the Patriots hold an impressive 11-2 record this season, Maye has been instrumental in the team’s performance. He is also among the leading candidates for the MVP award, completing 71.5% of his passes this year, totaling 3,412 yards, with 23 touchdowns and only six interceptions. Additionally, he has rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns, recording the highest completion percentage in the NFL.

Looking ahead, Maye aims to help extend the Patriots’ ten-game winning streak in their forthcoming matchup against the Buffalo Bills, both teams currently sitting at 9-4, on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
