Paul Bissonnette is used to having to battle guys on the ice, but the former NHLer and Barstool Sports personality ended up collapsing at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Ariz., over the weekend.
Bissonnette, who also works as a studio analyst for TNT's NHL coverage, was assaulted by six men Sunday night at Houston's restaurant, according to multiple reports.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. local time, and six men were arrested for assault and disorderly conduct. According to Fox10.
“There was an altercation between six adult males and management inside the restaurant. Paul Bissonnette reportedly assisted management in trying to calm the men down and get them to leave. The situation escalated to the point where the men assaulted Paul Bissonnette inside and outside the restaurant,” said Scottsdale Police Sgt. Alison Sempsis told the media.
Bissonnette's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening and she was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

The former hockey tough guy played for the Coyotes from 2009 to 2014, appearing in 187 NHL games for the franchise.
