Paulina Porizkova Celebrates Aging with Social Media Post

Paulina Porizkova recently showcased pink lingerie on Instagram, touching on the “smoke and mirrors” nature of social media.

In a Thursday video, Porizkova, 60, struck a confident pose at home, highlighting her fit figure. She initially wore a green floral robe, which she soon removed to reveal herself without any filters.

“Smoke and mirrors, folks. It’s how you look good for a second,” she wrote in the caption. “The truth is, gravity takes its toll. BUT! Gravity also builds strength, letting you hold your head higher than ever before.” 

Porizkova mentioned that she bought the lingerie set for “someone who doesn’t care about lingerie.” She added humorously, “He just needed me to be 20 years younger. And now I can barely fit into it, but it’s worth it just to see the look on my loved ones’ faces.”

Despite acknowledging the typical signs of aging, she expressed feeling sexier and more comfortable in her own skin than ever.

The model has been open about her journey toward body acceptance and positivity. Last November, she shared a similar message by posting a photo of herself in just her underwear to encourage others to embrace their imperfections.

“If you’re like me, you focus on the shape of my body and, hopefully, find comfort in thinking, ‘Oh, she’s not perfect either,'” she explained in that post. “Take a moment to rest, wrap your arms around your imperfect self, and give yourself some love, because our imperfections are what make us perfect originals.”
