CHICAGO — Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, amid rumors of rifts between Biden and President Trump, did not hesitate to thank the president for his service to the country.
“Thank you, Joe,” Pelosi (D-Calif.) said, citing his accomplishments on a number of issues, including climate change, lowering prescription drug prices and signing the infrastructure bill.
Biden “has been one of the most successful presidents of modern times,” she added, “and I know Vice President Harris is ready to lead us to new heights.”
