Pelosi’s push for Biden’s exit about the ‘campaign, not about the candidate’

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said her concerns about President Biden's reelection are about his campaign, not about him as a candidate.

“I have a lot of respect for the president. I think his legacy is very important to our country. It's our legacy and I didn't want that to be lost,” Pelosi said. Ta. interview on CNN earlier this week.

“Now my concerns were about the campaign, not the candidate. He's a great guy, but I don't think the campaign is going in the right direction and I voiced my concerns about that,” she added.

Pelosi added that she has not spoken to Biden since July because she is campaigning. as Parliament is out of session.

Pelosi was recently spotted sitting nearby at Ethel Kennedy's funeral, where Pelosi reportedly bragged about her role in Biden's downfall.

In August, Pelosi said she had never been more impressed with Biden's “political maneuvering.”

But also in August, Pelosi said she had not asked Biden to resign, despite reports that she had led a pressure campaign to force him to resign, and insisted she had never made any phone calls about the issue.

“No, I was not the leader of a pressure party,” Pelosi said.
