Pennsylvania among closest contests in the country as election day approaches

As the November presidential election approaches, Pennsylvania remains one of the nation's closest races.

Vice President Kamala Harris remains narrowly ahead of former President Donald Trump, according to new data from AARP.

According to the poll, Harris holds 49% of likely voters, while Trump holds about 47%. 3% said they were undecided.

The AARP poll was conducted by a bipartisan team from Sept. 17 to Sept. 24 via landline phones, cell phones, and text-to-web.

Harris' weakness is with the elderly, according to AARP response data.

According to the data, Trump outperformed Trump by 7 points among seniors 65 and older.

This is a major change from the Democratic candidate, former President Biden, who was trailing former President Biden by one point until Mr. Trump resigned and Ms. Harris became the party's nominee.

According to an AARP poll, 50% of likely voters approve of Trump's performance as president from 2016 to 2020, but about 49% disapprove of his performance in the Oval Office. is not supported.

About 45% approve of Harris' performance as vice president, while 52% disapprove.

AARP's poll was conducted among 1,398 likely voters in Pennsylvania and has an overall margin of error of 4 percentage points.

An oversample of 470 likely voters in the state over the age of 50 was included in the data with a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
