Penny Lancaster, wife of musician Rod Stewart, has shared some insights about their family dynamics, especially concerning their children. She mentioned that if her child wouldn’t agree to be with her, she would have faced a tough decision regarding her relationship with Stewart. Despite the challenges, she emphasized the importance of going with the flow, noting that Stewart frequently expresses that he might have had more children in the past.

About five years ago, they talked about adoption, but it didn’t pan out. Lancaster shared her feelings about the significant age gap, wondering if it might be too much.

Stewart and Lancaster are parents to two sons, Alastair and Aiden. Stewart had already six children before marrying Lancaster in 2007. Lancaster humorously refers to herself as a mother of three, playfully calling Stewart “a big baby” who requires her attention in different ways. She commented that many women might say the same about their husbands.

Reflecting on their long-lasting relationship, Stewart acknowledged that he still embraces romantic gestures, like candle-lit dinners. He believes that honesty and open communication are crucial for keeping the romance alive. Notably, he advises against having serious discussions right before bedtime, especially after enjoying a drink. Praising Lancaster, he described her as an “amazing” partner.

In recent comments, Lancaster expressed that Stewart draws strength from family, particularly from their younger generation, which helps him stay energized. She also remarked on his tendency to be restless, always on the move, while she enjoys her moments of relaxation, something they sometimes find hard to balance.
