Peter Doocy vs. Bird II: Fox News Reporter Engages in Another On-Air Dispute with Feathered Foe

Peter Doocy’s Ongoing Bird Encounters at the White House

On Monday, Fox News Senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy found himself in yet another amusing situation involving birds while reporting on President Donald Trump’s directives.

During a live update about Trump’s decision regarding a temporary federal prison on Alcatraz Island, California, Doocy was caught moving around, which drew attention from former White House press secretary and co-host of American Newsroom, Dana Perino. She playfully remarked, “Peter, are you dodging the birds again?” as he faced off against an unexpected feathered foe, expressing mock frustration about his hairstyle.

In a light-hearted exchange, Perino quipped, “That’s because you’re so tall and cute,” humorously suggesting sending the troublesome bird to Alcatraz.

This wasn’t the first incident involving birds. Previously, on April 11th, while appearing on “Fox and Friends,” Doocy also encountered pigeons that seemed to target him directly. His reaction at the time included an animated shout, “It’s landed on my head!” during discussions about tariffs imposed on China and issues with water in Mexico.

Following that amusing altercation, Doocy reached out to Interior Secretary Doug Burgum’s team, promising to look into the bizarre happenings. He reported that moments before his segment, he received word from the team, who had sent park services and wildlife officials to investigate the situation.

As of now, neither the White House nor Burgum’s office have issued a response regarding this latest bird encounter.
