Phaedra Parks Returns to “Real Housewives of Atlanta”
Phaedra Parks has announced her return to “Atlanta’s Real Housewives,” sharing insights about her upcoming comeback.
After taking a break for six seasons, the mother of two explained, “We’ve been discussing this for a while, and it needed to be the right time for me and my family.”
She reflected on a conversation with Porsha Williams, saying, “Porsha basically asked, ‘What do you think about that?’ And I really admire Porsha. We always have a good time. It’s about friendship.”
Parks described her return as “like riding a bike,” noting, “It felt great to jump back in. I think this season is going to be fantastic.” She teased about her partnership with Cheez-It Snap’d, hinting at exciting promotional content.
When it comes to her return, she seems unfazed, stating, “I wasn’t nervous about rejoining the group.”
“I consider myself pretty brave. If the dead don’t scare me, then living people won’t either,” she remarked, expressing her happiness to be back at the show where she began.
Parks thinks the mix of veteran and new cast members will create a compelling dynamic this season. “To refresh our brand, I think it’s important to incorporate both the old and the new, keeping that nostalgia alive while also introducing fresh ideas.”
Although the reunion for Season 16 hasn’t been filmed yet, she anticipates it will be quite eventful. “A lot of us, including me, will be in the hot seat,” she said, adding with a sense of confidence, “I’m ready, so there’s no need to prepare.”
Reflecting on her time away, she mentioned, “I’ve remained true to myself. I have a great relationship with NBCUniversal and Peacock, and I’m looking forward to what’s next.”
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs Sundays at 8 PM on Bravo.
