Piers Morgan rips Harris as 'most far-left senator in modern American history'

British television host Piers Morgan slammed Vice President Harris, calling her “the most left-wing senator in modern American history.”

Speaking on “Fox News Saturday Night,” Morgan dismissed the numerous endorsements Harris has received from Democrats since President Biden announced last Sunday that he would not seek re-election.

“She’s having the most amazing newlywed life, and that will continue here for a week or so, and then reality will set in,” Morgan said Saturday, “and Donald Trump will start attacking her very harshly, as he has already done, on her record, which is literally the most left-wing senator probably in modern American history.”

Republicans and other political commentators have launched a series of attacks on Ms Harris, who has rapidly consolidated support within her party in just a few days last week, over a range of policy positions on immigration, climate change and her record as a prosecutor.

Harris, meanwhile, is using her background as a prosecutor to draw a contrast between Trump and his long list of legal problems.

MAGA Inc., a leading pro-Trump super PAC, spent millions of dollars on a series of ads last week, with its CEO saying it was looking to “cut the honeymoon period short” with Harris.

“The analogy I give you is, [about Democrats supporting Harris] “What I’m saying is, if you were a Democrat and you were on the Titanic with Biden and he hit an iceberg and was sinking and the last lifeboat disappeared into the moonlight, you would take any ship you could see.”

“What are the chances of actually landing it? We just have to jump on anything and everything. That’s where we are,” Morgan said. From Fox News.

Fox News radio host Jimmy Feira spoke with Morgan and said he was “surprised” by the sudden change in support for Harris.

“I, This police officer Kamala’s ad “If you remember, it’s been about three months since they started talking about removing her from the running. Sure, go ahead and do it. And now she’s running for president and they’re saying she’s the greatest person in the world, even though she was in the polls supporting ISIS when she dropped out,” Failla said.

The Hill has reached out to Harris’ campaign for comment.
