Pizza Hut says the red wine “concentrates the essence of your favorite slice in every sip,” and is made from tomatoes infused with natural basil rather than grapes.

Created in partnership with Kansas-based Irvine's Just Beyond Paradise Winery, the tomato wine has the aroma of “rich, sun-ripened tomatoes with hints of toasted oak.” A fragrant blend of fresh herbs and spices.

Apparently, this wine is “reminiscent of perfectly baked pizza dough.”

A bottle of wine costs $25 buyminimum purchase of two bottles required.

Fans also have the chance to get a gift set for $60 that includes a bottle of wine, two Pizza Hut-branded wine glasses, and a matching wine opener, all in a “premium” gift box that looks like a pizza box.

Pizza Hut is also bringing back its fan-favorite Triple Treat Box for the holiday season at its lowest price ever, starting at just $19.99. Two medium one-topping pizzas, breadsticks, and your choice of dessert are packaged in a holiday-themed box.

“The holidays bring a lot of people together, but we often feel like the gift of a bottle of wine is expected. We have a pizza wine gift and a triple treat box designed to encourage fun and conversation. So why not join the pizza party?'' Pizza Hut advertising director Elise Slayton said in a statement.

“As a brand that has pioneered many firsts in the industry, we aimed to flip the popular classic pairing of pizza and red wine on its head, invoking intrigue and creating an even more memorable holiday pizza party.”
