Pizza Hut location goes viral after closing for ‘unforeseen circumcisions’

Tipping is not required at this pizzeria.

A Pizza Hut restaurant in Canada is in the news after an employee posted a sign on the front door with an unfortunate typo.

“Due to an unexpected circumcision, the dining room will be closed,” a sign posted at a restaurant in Timmins, northern Ontario, read last week. According to CTV News.

“We apologize for the inconvenience.”

This hilarious sign was mocked online and quickly went viral.

“There is no such thing as a perfect typo.” made a joke 1 X user.

Star Trek legend George Takei joked back“Typos are my worst enema!”

Takei’s tweet has been viewed more than 85,000 times.

The restaurant responded with a sense of humor and even put up a new sign offering customers a cheeky new deal.

A sign posted on Facebook says, “In light of the current situation, for a limited time, we’re offering just $5 when you buy a regular-priced medium or large pizza.” Trading products were listed.

“No tip required!” he added.

The shop blamed autocorrect for the typo.

“We at Pizza Hut would like to thank all of our loyal customers!!! And how much we enjoyed yesterday’s little mishap,” said Marc Girard, the facility’s general manager. Posted on Facebook. “Damn (sic) autocorrect.”

“Marketing done right,” one amused person commented on the post.

A local hospital’s charitable foundation also got in on the fun, according to CTV News.

“Hey Timmins Pizza Hut…stick to the pizza. We handle the circumcisions,” the Timmins District Hospital Foundation wrote on social media Thursday, along with an edited version of the sign.
