Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Mexico, Killing Man on Beach

A 62-year-old man and his wife were killed when a small plane carrying four skydivers made an emergency landing on the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico, on Sunday.

Plane carrying skydivers from Canada lands at Bacocho Beach in Puerto Escondido, Reuters report Monday.

The plane reportedly crashed into a turtle rescue center and video footage was captured show Scene with the front end of the aircraft shattered and the door opened:

Authorities did not identify those involved in the incident, but said they were continuing to investigate what happened.

The skydiver and the Mexican man were pulled from the plane and taken to hospital for treatment. They were later reported to be in stable condition.

The deceased man’s wife was not. hurt during a collision, according to CTV News.

Additional footage show Beachgoers rushed to the plane after it crashed into the sand. Several men can be seen pulling someone from the plane and moving the person to shore and away from the scene.

Moments later, a person believed to be one of the skydivers emerged from the plane, followed by another person wearing the same type of equipment. The couple does not appear to have any major injuries.

The camera then moves closer to the plane and shows another person, who appears to be a man, inside the plane. Beachgoers also try to help him.

Governor Salomon Jara said in a social media post that authorities were working to help the injured. “We will provide the families of the deceased with all necessary support and apologize for their irreparable loss.” I will stand by you no matter what happens,” he added. ”

Breitbart News reported that during a gender reveal event in Mexico’s Sinaloa state in August, a small plane broke apart over watching partygoers, killing the pilot and going dark.
