Planned Parenthood, a major pro-abortion group, announced it would spend $40 million to support 81-year-old President Joe Biden and Democrats in November’s crucial congressional elections. The Hill report.
The organization, founded by a notorious racist with ties to the eugenics movement, made the announcement Monday to coincide with the second anniversary of the Supreme Court decision. Dobbs Decision. The fundraising offensive comes as Biden and Democrats across the country continue to make abortion the centerpiece of their campaign rather than addressing other pressing issues, such as the struggling economy and the vulnerability of the southern border. Wade If re-elected, Trump has repeatedly denounced former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party as a danger to women, and Democrats hope to use the abortion issue, and abortion bills in several states, to stoke anger and boost voter turnout.
The group will reportedly start by investing in presidential battleground states such as Wisconsin, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona. The abortion giant also plans to spend money on congressional races in Montana, New Hampshire and New York that could determine the balance of power in the House and Senate.
The program will have a special focus on voter outreach through volunteer and paid canvassing, phone banking, and digital, television and mail advertising.
