A plumber from Hoover, Alabama tried to hire a hit man to kill his wife and six children. According to To the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Mohammed A.H. Mohammed, 63, was allegedly recorded on Saturday trying to arrange the murder with an undercover FBI agent posing as a hit man.
“God will reward me,” Mohammed responds in the recording.
“Six kids and their mom. You pick who you get rid of and you get the money,” Mohammed said after he told her his children had turned against him, according to the affidavit. He and his wife were in the process of divorcing.
“Start with one and take your time,” he reportedly instructed.
According to the affidavit, Mohammed paid a fake hit man a $550 down payment and agreed to pay him $20,000 for the murder of his wife and $5,000 for each of his adult children's murders.
The prosecution played audio recordings of conversations between witnesses and Mr Mohammed.
The witness told the man that if he hurt his family he would “burn in hell for all eternity.”
“No, God will reward me,” Mohammed responds in the recording.
According to the affidavit, Mohammed had been committing increasingly violent and threatening acts against his family over the years. The couple married in 2020, and less than a year later, his wife filed for a protective order against him.
In her affidavit, she accused Mohammed of threatening to kill her and her children, physically abusing them and threatening them with a gun. He is accused of stalking them and setting several cars on fire. After he was released on bail in February, he began looking for someone to kill her family, according to the affidavit.

Mohammed was arrested on Tuesday and charged with using a facility of interstate commerce to commit a murder-for-hire.
